Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough reach settlement in Lisa Marie Presley estate dispute

Priscilla Presley and her granddaughter, Riley Keough, have reached a settlement in their dispute over the estate of Lisa Marie Presley. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed, but the two sides said in a joint statement that they were “pleased to have reached an amicable resolution.”

The dispute began in January 2023, when Keough filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court asking to be appointed executor of her mother’s estate. Keough’s mother, Lisa Marie Presley, died in January 2023 at the age of 49.

In her petition, Keough alleged that her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, had been “unjustly enriched” by her mother’s estate. Keough also alleged that Priscilla Presley had been “negligent” in her management of the estate.

Priscilla Presley denied the allegations and filed a petition to have Keough removed as executor of the estate. The two sides were scheduled to go to trial in June 2023, but the settlement reached on May 16, 2023, averted a trial.

The settlement is a victory for both sides. Keough has been appointed executor of her mother’s estate, and Priscilla Presley has avoided a public trial. The settlement also ensures that Lisa Marie Presley’s estate will be managed in the best interests of her children.

In a joint statement, Priscilla Presley and Keough said, “We are pleased to have reached an amicable resolution that will allow us to move forward with our lives and focus on the things that are most important to us, which are our family and our children.”
