Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney are opening up about their potential return to Vanderpump Rules Season 11. The two longtime cast members have been on the show since its inception in 2013, and they’ve seen a lot of drama unfold over the years. In recent months, the cast has been rocked by a number of scandals, including the secret affair between Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss.
Madix and Maloney have both been vocal about their disapproval of Sandoval and Leviss’ relationship, and they’ve said that they would not be comfortable filming with them if they return to the show. However, both women have also said that they are open to returning to Vanderpump Rules if the show can move on from the drama.
“It’s not up to us who comes back,” Madix said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. “I’m just going to be doing me. Me doing me means they are not a part of my life.”
Madix said that she would “for sure” do another season of the reality series, but she would only do it if the show could focus on other storylines. “I just wouldn’t hang out with them,” she said.
Maloney echoed Madix’s sentiments, saying that she would also be open to returning to the show if it could move on from the drama. “For me, yeah, I’ve got my friends,” she said. “I’ve got [Madix], I’ve got Lala [Kent]. Me and Scheana [Shay] are getting along. There’s enough to work with and we have the sandwich shop.”
Maloney said that she is focused on her new business venture, Something About Her, and she is not interested in dwelling on the past. “There’s so much great things happening and so much other stuff to worry about,” she said. “It’s not for me to worry about how you fit into my life ’cause you’re not in my life.”
It remains to be seen whether Vanderpump Rules will be renewed for a 11th season, but if it is, it will be interesting to see if Madix and Maloney return. The two women are fan favorites, and their absence would be a major blow to the show. However, if they do return, it will be interesting to see how they navigate the new dynamic with Sandoval and Leviss.
