Succession star Sarah Snook has welcomed her first child, a baby boy. The actress announced the news on Instagram on Monday, sharing a photo of her newborn son’s head.
“I just watched the final episode of the final season of something that has changed my life,” Snook wrote in the caption. “And now, my life has changed again.”
Snook did not reveal the name of her son or any other details about his birth. However, she did thank her fans for their support and congratulated her co-stars on the end of the show.
“I’m so grateful for all the memories, good times, challenges and triumphs, to be able to break at all…so that makes me grateful,” she wrote. “Thank you to everyone who watched and supported the show. I’m so proud of what we made together.”
Snook’s pregnancy was written into the final season of Succession, with her character, Siobhan Roy, navigating the nitty-gritty of her father’s company with a little one on the way.
Snook married comedian Dave Lawson in 2021. She is also stepmother to Lawson’s son from a previous relationship.
