Tatum Thompson, as he is now known, was born in July 2022. His birth came just a few months after it was revealed that Tristan Thompson had fathered a child with another woman. At the time, Khloe and Tristan were still in a relationship, but they had broken up by the time Tatum was born.
It is believed that Khloe initially gave Tatum the last name Kardashian as a way to show her commitment to Tristan. However, after the paternity scandal, Khloe decided to change Tatum’s last name to Thompson.
A source close to Khloe said, “Khloe is a great mom and she wants what’s best for her son. She felt that it was important for Tatum to have his father’s last name.”
