Bethenny Frankel has weighed in on the ongoing feud between Kim and Kourtney Kardashian over Dolce & Gabbana. The former Real Housewives of New York City star sided with Kim, saying that she “made the gold, makes the rules.”
Frankel explained that Kim was the one who laid the groundwork for the success of the KarJenner family, and that she is the most famous Kardashian. As a result, she said that D&G would naturally want to work with Kim on a campaign, even if Kourtney had already worn some of the brand’s clothes at her wedding.
Frankel also said that Kourtney should have expected that there would be some overlap between her wedding and Kim’s campaign, given that they were both sponsored by Dolce & Gabbana. “With branding and with sponsorships come obligations,” she said. “Nobody gets out without paying the bill.”
Frankel’s comments come after Kourtney expressed her anger with Kim over the campaign. On a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney said that she felt “betrayed” by Kim and that she didn’t think Kim had been “mindful” of her feelings.

Kim has since said that she tried her best to avoid copying Kourtney’s wedding looks, and that she even invited Kourtney and her husband to see the D&G show. However, Kourtney said that she didn’t feel like Kim was being genuine, and that she didn’t think Kim understood how much the situation had upset her.
