Bridget Moynahan and Tom Brady are raising their son Jack without pressuring him to follow in their footsteps. Moynahan said on Live with Kelly and Mark that she doesn’t want to put any pressure on Jack to pursue a career in acting or sports, like his parents.

When host Kelly Ripa asked if Jack was interested in a dentistry profession, Moynahan replied that he hasn’t expressed any interest in that. She said that she thinks Jack is just a normal kid who doesn’t really know what he wants to do yet, and that’s okay.

Ripa then asked if Jack at least plays football, since his dad is a famous NFL quarterback. Moynahan said that Jack is more of a basketball player and that he also loves lacrosse.

Tom Brady has also spoken about his parenting philosophy. In a recent Father’s Day post on Instagram, he said that he wants to pass on the lessons he learned from his own father to his three children, Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian. He also said that his children have taught him the importance of being present and cherishing every moment.

Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan were in a relationship from 2004 to 2006. Jack was born in 2007. Brady later married supermodel Gisele Bündchen, with whom he has two more children. Brady and Bündchen divorced in 2022.

Moynahan is currently starring in the police procedural drama series Blue Bloods. She has also appeared in films such as John Wick, The Sum of All Fears, and Serendipity.
