Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have welcomed their second child, a baby girl.

The couple’s representative confirmed the news to Page Six, saying that they are “delighted” to have expanded their family. No other details about the newborn have been released.

Harington and Leslie met on the set of Game of Thrones in 2011 and got married in 2018. They have one other child, a son who was born in 2021.

In an interview with The Tonight Show in February, Harington opened up about the challenges of parenting two children. “I’m terrified,” he said. “With the first baby you’re, like, walking through clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for nine months. Well, the man is anyway. [With the second baby], the reality check comes much shorter. You get practical real quick.”

He also shared that his son hasn’t quite grasped the concept of having a sibling yet. “We’re trying to get him ready for it,” he said. “We point to Rose’s tummy and say, ‘Mommy’s baby.’ And he points at his tummy and says, ‘My baby.'”

The couple’s first pregnancy announcement was slightly more low-key. In September 2020, Leslie confirmed the news by posing with her baby bump for an interview with Make magazine. “I can’t wait to meet the new member of our family,” she gushed at the time.
