Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s “flop era”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's flop era

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly facing a string of failed deals, such as losing out on their $20 million Spotify contract.

Rolling Stone magazine said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made their brand about their feud with the royal family, but now that their feud has reached a stalemate, there isn’t much more to say.

The pair decided to step back as senior royal family members in January 2020 and moved to Montecito, California. Since then, they have released several tell-all projects about their time in the royal family.

However, Rolling Stone said that appetite for content about their rift with the royal family is waning. The publication also noted that Markle’s “Archetypes” podcast was not renewed for a second season.

Insiders told the Daily Mail that the couple feels “repeatedly unlucky” with their fruitless projects.

Despite their recent setbacks, Netflix is still committed to their $100 million deal with Archewell Productions. The streamer will be dropping a new doc about the Invictus Games next month.

A Netflix spokesperson said that they “deeply value” their partnership with Archewell Productions and that they are “currently collaborating on numerous projects.”
