Meghan Trainor and her husband Daryl Sabara welcomed their second child, a boy named Barry Bruce Trainor, on July 1, 2023. The couple announced the news on Instagram, sharing photos of their newborn son. Barry weighed 8 pounds and 7 ounces and was delivered via C-section.
Meghan and Daryl are already parents to a two-year-old son named Riley. The singer announced her second pregnancy in January 2023 during an appearance on the TODAY show. She said that she and Daryl were “so excited” and that they “couldn’t sleep” they were so happy.
Meghan has said that she wants to have a “village” of children. In an interview with HollywoodLife in 2021, she said that she wants “the most kids! I just want to know what my body can handle.” She added that she was getting in shape so that she could have an easier pregnancy than her first.
