Kyle Richards denied that she is single and dating Morgan Wade after rumors of a romance between the two surfaced.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 54, was seen at a gas station in Los Angeles on July 7 when a paparazzo asked her if she is enjoying being single. Richards quickly shut down the claim, saying “I’m not single.” Video link
The reporter then asked if she is dating country singer Wade, 28, to which Richards appeared flustered. “I’m not going to answer that,” she said.
Despite not confirming or denying whether or not she and Wade are an item, Richards did share that they are “very good friends.”
The 54-year-old doubled down once more after the paparazzo claimed that she and her husband, Mauricio Umansky, 53, are divorced. “I’m not divorced!” Kyle quipped. She then instructed the reporter to “read” her “statement on Instagram,” which she shared on July 4.
In the statement, Richards and Umansky denied that they are getting a divorce. “Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue,” the statement read. “However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously.”
This is not the first time this year that Umansky has faced divorce speculation with Richards. In April, he appeared on the Two Ts In A Pod podcast with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge to chat about the rumors. “We’re not getting divorced,” he told the RHOC stars. “I mean, it’s so dumb.”
The rumors about Richards and Wade began swirling after the two were spotted together on each other’s Instagrams more frequently in recent months. In December 2022, Richards even took to Instagram to wish Wade a happy birthday with a series of photos of them together. “Happy birthday @morganwademusic May all your dreams continue to come true! Keep shining We love you,” Kyle captioned the post.
It remains to be seen whether or not Richards and Wade are actually dating, but the Real Housewives star has made it clear that she is not single and that she and her husband are not getting a divorce.
