James Gunn, co-head of DC Films, has confirmed that the remaining episodes of Doom Patrol Season 4 will be released. The show, which reimagines some of DC’s most recognized superheroes, is set to conclude with its fourth season. However, only half of the season has aired so far, which had some fans concerned about the future of the series.

Gunn addressed these concerns on social media, saying that he is “neck deep in Superman & Creature Commandos” and is not “focused on day-to-day TV scheduling.” However, he added that he “can’t imagine a world where completed episodes are not going to be released.”

Hours later, Gunn returned to post an update, confirming that the remaining episodes of Doom Patrol will be released. He said that the premiere date has not yet been announced, but the episodes will “absolutely NOT be shelved.”

Doom Patrol star Joivan Wade, who plays Cyborg in the show, also spoke about the upcoming episodes. He said that the second half of the season will give fans a “great finish” and that it is “satisfactory for the fans.” Wade added that he feels “we really got the opportunity to do that with Doom this season and give the fans what they have wanted and the payoff of everything that we have built over the last four years.”
