Jeremy Renner Makes Public Appearance After Snowplow Accident

Actor Seen Beaming at Friend’s Comedy Show

Jeremy Renner is making a public appearance for the first time since his snowplow accident in January. The actor was seen beaming from ear to ear while hanging out with friends at a comedy show in Los Angeles.

Renner, 52, was supporting his friend Katie Cazorla’s “Superstar Saturday” comedy show at The HaHa Comedy Club in Hollywood over the weekend. Cazorla shared photos on social media which showed Renner smiling alongside comedian Nikki Glaser and Cazorla’s husband, music producer Walter Afanasieff.

A source told People that Renner looked “healthy and happy and incredible.” The insider added that Renner was “in super good spirits” after his “truly remarkable” recovery.

After his appearance at the comedy gig, Renner posted a photo of himself enjoying some pool time at home. “Sunday recharge,” he captioned Sunday’s Instagram Story post. “Replenish.”

The Marvel actor broke 30 of his bones after his 14,330-pound Snowcat vehicle ran him over on New Year’s Day. He was left in critical condition and fighting for his life after “experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow” — causing him to suffer “extensive” injuries in Lake Tahoe.

It was revealed that Renner was attempting to stop a snowplow from sliding and hitting his nephew before it ran over his leg, resulting in the nasty accident. After losing a significant amount of blood, the actor underwent surgeries and received round-the-clock care from medics.

The actor was using his snowplow to clear a path out of his five-bedroom home after the area had been slammed by a massive snowstorm. The storm had left over 35,000 people without power in the area at the time.

He was airlifted to a hospital near Reno after a neighbor who happened to be a doctor applied a tourniquet to his leg to stop the bleeding, and was later transferred to the intensive care unit after surgeries following the incident.

Renner’s recovery has been slow but steady, and he has been sharing updates on his progress on social media. In a recent post, he thanked his fans for their support and said that he was “feeling good.”

It is clear that Renner is on the mend, and his recent public appearance is a sign that he is well on his way to a full recovery.
