Meghan Markle was all smiles in a rare selfie with friends while out to lunch this week. The Duchess of Sussex was joined by poet Cleo Wade and hair colorist Kadi Lee for a casual lunch in Los Angeles.

Markle looked radiant in a black tank top and minimal makeup, and she accessorized with a gold necklace by Ariel Gordon. The group shot was captioned “Belated bday celebrations w/ these lovely muses,” but it’s unclear whose birthday was being celebrated.

Markle celebrated her own 42nd birthday on August 4th, and she marked the occasion with a low-key dinner with Harry. The Duke of Sussex left for a mini tour of Japan and Singapore shortly after his wife’s birthday, so Markle has been keeping busy with her own friends while he’s away.

In addition to lunch with Wade and Lee, Markle also went to a Taylor Swift concert and took a walk around Los Angeles. She was seen wearing a camel-colored coat with the sleeves rolled up to reveal a NuCalm anti-stress patch. While some speculated that this was a sponsored post, the company denied having any “business relationship” with Markle.

Harry has also been keeping busy on his tour, and he recently shopped for his wife with his longtime friend Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras. The former military pilot, who shares son Archie, 4, and daughter Lilibet, 2, with Markle, posed for a shopping spree snap in sunglasses during the Tokyo excursion.

It seems like both Meghan and Harry are enjoying their respective vacations, and they’re both making sure to spend time with their loved ones.
