The rumors of a split began after Braun shared a photo of himself on Instagram with friends, including Usher. Fans took to the comments section to ask about Bieber and weigh in on the rumors.
Bieber has not commented on the rumors publicly.
Braun has also admitted that he learned an “important lesson” from his feud with Taylor Swift over the ownership of her master recordings. He said that he assumed Swift would speak to him after the acquisition, but that he now realizes that was “arrogant.”
Swift has been re-recording her first six albums in response to Braun’s acquisition of her masters. She has already released re-recordings of “Fearless” and “Speak Now,” and “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” is due out in October.
Despite the rumors, it seems that Bieber and Braun are still working together. It is unclear what caused the speculation, but it is possible that it was simply a misunderstanding.
