Jennifer Aniston Speaks Out Against Cancel Culture

Jennifer Aniston is speaking out against cancel culture, saying that she doesn’t believe in “putting everybody in the Harvey Weinstein basket.”

Aniston, who worked with Weinstein on the 2005 film “Derailed,” said that she never looked forward to spending time with him, but that she never felt uncomfortable around him.

“He’s not a guy, you’re like, ‘God, I can’t wait to hang out with Harvey.’ Never,” Aniston said. “You were actually like, ‘Oh, God, OK, suck it up.'”

Aniston’s comments come at a time when cancel culture is a hot-button issue. Cancel culture is the practice of withdrawing support for, boycotting, or blacklisting public figures and organizations after they have done or said something considered objectionable or offensive.

Aniston said that she believes in forgiveness and redemption, and that she doesn’t think everyone who makes a mistake should be “canceled.”

“Is there no redemption?” she asked. “I don’t know. I don’t put everybody in the Harvey Weinstein basket.”

Weinstein has been convicted of rape and sexual assault, and is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence. He has denied all allegations of non-consensual sex.

Aniston’s comments have been met with mixed reactions. Some people have praised her for speaking out against cancel culture, while others have criticized her for defending Weinstein.

It remains to be seen whether Aniston’s comments will have any impact on the debate over cancel culture. However, her comments have certainly sparked a conversation about the issue.
