Teresa Giudice, star of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” took a break from her European vacation to enjoy a taste of home.
The reality star shared a photo on Instagram of herself ordering a strawberry açaí refresher at a Starbucks in Lucerne, Switzerland.
The photo drew mixed reactions from fans, with some criticizing Giudice for not trying more local food and drinks.
“Imagine going all the way to Switzerland and hitting the Starbucks,” one troll wrote.
“How about when you are in other countries to eat their food. Drink their drinks. Live like they do to immerse yourself in their culture. Get Starbucks when you get home,” another agreed.
However, others defended Giudice, saying that there is nothing wrong with enjoying a familiar food or drink while traveling.
“Is Switzerland famous for its coffee? It’s not ok to go to an internationally recognized place for coffee?” one user asked.
Ultimately, it is up to each individual to decide how they want to experience a new culture. Some people may prefer to immerse themselves in the local cuisine, while others may prefer to find comfort in familiar foods.
Giudice has not addressed the criticism, but she did share other photos from her trip, including shots of her posing in front of a flower wall and a mountainous landscape.
She and her husband, Luis Ruelas, also went for a walk together in Zürich.
The couple have been married for a little over a year and often travel together. They also recently vacationed in Greece.
It seems that Giudice is enjoying her European travels, regardless of what others may think.
